Sabudana Kheer

Nutrition :
Sabudana is starchy and high in carbohydrates. Provides instant energy. Milk adds calcium & protein

Ingredients :
Sabudana, Milk, Sugar, Saffron / Cardamom / Almonds / Raisins (as per choice)

Instructions :
  1. Soak 1 katori sabudana for 2 hrs in water
  2. Grate some almonds and dissolve 3-4 saffron threads in 1-2 tsp milk (optional)
  3. Warm 4 katori milk in a pan and add the strained sabudana. Cook on a medium flame for 8-10 mins
  4. Add  the almonds and saffron mixture, seeds of 2 cardamoms and raisins as per taste
  5. Stir it at regular intervals
  6. Add 2 tsp sugar or as per taste and cook on a medium flame for another 10 min
Makes 3-4 katoris

Tip: Leave any wooden spoon in the kheer while cooking to avoid the milk from overflowing
